Testing Methodology

We tested this build in 22 popular games at 1080p resolution, with settings ranging from high to ultra to provide a realistic benchmark for what this PC can deliver. The games were selected to represent a mix of genres, including AAA titles, competitive shooters, and open-world adventures.

Performance Insights

The results showcase the incredible performance of this setup, making it a perfect choice for gamers looking for a budget-friendly 1080p rig. Most games ran at a stable frame rate above 60 FPS, even at ultra settings. However, we encountered a few limitations due to the GPU’s 8GB VRAM:

Indiana Jones and The Great Cycle

This highly demanding game posed a unique challenge. While testing at high settings, the game crashed with a “GPU out of memory” error due to the limited VRAM. Switching to medium settings resolved this issue, and the game delivered smooth performance without further interruptions.

Why This Build?

This PC is an excellent choice for gamers looking for a system that balances price and performance. The combination of AMD Ryzen 5 5600 and RTX 4060 ensures you can enjoy most games at high settings without breaking the bank. While 8GB of VRAM may pose challenges for future memory-intensive games, this build is still a powerful contender for 1080p gaming today.

If you’re looking for a budget gaming PC capable of handling modern titles at 1080p with impressive frame rates, this build is a great option. Stay tuned for detailed benchmarks and performance comparisons for all 22 tested games!
